Problem with AOL is messen. and XP?

Any know issues that prevent from sending files over AOL im between two XP OS systems?

Nothing, as far as I know. Just make sure neither of you arebehind a firewall. You may need to turn off the XP firewall, as well.

It can't be a firewall isssue i would think because i've sent stuff before with my isp using a firewall around the server. The only differene is that we were both using xp, i'll have to check his comupter and make sure his firewall was disabled. Thanks

make sure the built in internet firewall isnt enabled. That prevented me from connecting to some ftp sites. 3rd party firewalls are much better!

Anyone involved using a Linksys Cable/DSL router or something similar?

If so you are fuxord. I've sent the info over to Linksys to work on but I don't expect a fix soon (if ever)
