Most wireless clients associate to one access point

Hello,
most of my wireless clients are associating to one ap when there are ap's closer. do i have some setting configured wrong on my controllers?

If all the APs share the same SSID and security settings, that creates a roaming situation, and there's really no control you can exercise over which AP is chosen (at least I've never seen any, that would sort of defeat the purpose, right). In general, all APs are treated equally except for signal quality (the better, the more likely to be chosen). However, that doesn’t necessarily mean it will be the physically *closest* AP.
