Hi,

I've been running my Asus p8z77 for over 2-3 months now and it started shutting down on it's own. When I check in bios it seems that the default voltage bar located below the CPU voltage which show 3.3V keeps dropping and turns off at 2.8v

The mobo's bios runs on it's default settings. I was wondering what could be causing this issue?

Specs:
i7 2600k 3.4ghz
Asus p8z77 v-pro
16gb 4x4 1333hz rip jaw ram
TT tough power 850w
Gigabyte GTX 670 windforce 2gb ram
Cavier blue 7200rpm 3.5"

Thanks for the correction. Sry I was not clear and sure before. Thought that it was the CPU voltage. It looks like its the 3.3V rail that was dropping (correct me again if I'm wrong)

It's when it dips to 2.8v that it shuts down. The only way that I could get back onto the bios was by resetting the CMOS. Which then buys me about a min or so before shutting down again. Weird thing is, I let I rest for and hour and is was running fine again for the next few hours before crashing again.
