My mother biard wont boot!!!

Hi i seem to have a big problem since i changed my bios graphic card settings from pci to on board graphics... now the mother board wont boot... i get 1 long beep followed by 3 short ones... i know that is gpu failure.... but how do i fix this or switch back to pci graphic card... help me pls

Try clearing the CMOS (unplug the power cord and remove the CMOS battery for few minutes).

What motherboard do you have? Have you removed the GPU and tried the onboard and still the same?

I have an asus f1 a75-v pro ...... yea i tried that.. i still get 1 long beep and 3 short ones

Do you use an APU as CPU?

Im not sure what do you mean... im kinda new to this.... my cpu is an amd a4 with graphics too

That's what I meant. If the processor has integrated graphics. It should work with A4. It might be a BIOS issue or a CPU one. Why did you try switching from the GPU to the onboard?

Just to test the graphics.... i guess i shoukd have left it the way it was... but how i load the bios to change that setting.... cpu was working fine

By clearing the CMOS, the BIOS settings are set to default (Primary graphics to PCIe/PCI Video and the Integrated Graphics to Auto) so it should work either with the onboard or with the GPU.
Try inserting again the graphics card. What GPU are you using?

Radeon hd 5450 1gb ddr3 ... how do i clear the cmos???

You said you had done it (by removing the motherboard's battery for few minutes, with the PSU off).

Yes i did but i dont know why it did not work
