Max temp for 2600k ?

Hello all, im wondering at which temperature i should set the overheat protection to ?

I have an i7 2600k and i wanna know how much it can take..(temperature wise)

below 70C is good.

the cpu can take up to 80 and run but its not good.

it will become unstable at 90+.

The tcase for the Intel® Core™ i7-2600K is 72.6c (not the best way measure). Most boards will shut the processor down at around 85c and the processor has a final shut off called the Thermtrip at 125c.
