ASUS Motherboard M5A99FX Pro R2.0 CPU Light stays lit

Hi, I just bought the ASUS Motherboard M5A99FX Pro R2.0 with a FX-8350 CPU and it was working fine 10 minutes ago and I restarted my pc for update and then when I turn it back on the CPU LED on the motherboard is now lit. Any ideas to why this is happening?

Hi, Does the CPU fan spin? If not, it might be a power supply issue.

CPU fan does spin. I pressed the MEM OK button and now the LED for that one just blinks

Then it's either the board or the CPU. Leave only one RAM stick, GPU, the DVD drive, keyboard and mouse. Start and see if still the same.

Took out the CPU and the LED for it is the only thing lit up. The MEM OK LED it no longer.

Fixed it by resting my HDD with the Reset button on my case.
