I have a non booting dell b110. I have changed the mother board. The boot with the new mother board and the same processor will not recognize the keyboard or the cd drive.

Hello,
I have an older xp sys. I changed to a new mother board, using the same processor. The Keyboard and the cd drive are not recognized at the bios boot. I never arrive at a windows load, as the system hangs for me to select f1 or f2 (setup) via a non working as non recognized keyboard, and configure my system.

Are you using the same OS installation from the original MB configured PC? If so then the old MB drivers are causing a lot of the problem. Try using an old PS2 keyboard (if the new MB has that port) and get the bios settings tweaked that way.
