Which do you think is better for gaming (5670 or 440)? and why is it good for it?
My current PC specs are:
i3 2100
DH67BL
ThermalTake 420 watt PSU
Which do you think will best suit gaming.
I will truly appreciate your help.

Solution
make sure you get the HD 5670 with GDDR5
it is better to have a 512mb GDDR5 card
than a 1gb ddr3 card

really the HD 5670 cant even make full use of the 1gb anyway
and it is better to have the memory bandwidth of GDDR5

I agree the HD 5670 is a little better card.

Here is a review on the GT 440 that included benchmarks comparing the it with the HD 5670 - and other cards. Note the huge jump in performance you could get by moving up to the GT 450 or HD 5770:

If you are not familiar with these kinds of reviews, note the "table of contents" jump menu at the bottom of the content that lets you quickly jump to any of the 30 pages in the review to look at the introductory information or other benchmarks. Be sure to go to the "Value and Conclusions" on page 30.

This review of the HD 5670 provides more information on that card. Since this card was released before the HD 440 it does not include any comparisions with the HD 440.

Another good source for information about upgrading video cards is this site:

What model is your PSU? Thermaltake is a good brand, but they have several series of cards, with different quality builds, to appeal to the needs of different market segments.

Thanks everyone for the answers. I bought a HD 5670 GDDR5 512mb. It is working great and I can play GTA IV at 1600×900 resolution, It can run on low to medium settings.

Its a great card performance and quality wise. It was best for my budget and rig.
