What is the best P67 or Z68 motherboard? Not that my budget is not over $150.

I have found TOO MANY Z68 and P67 models in Gigabyte. So, I just want to know which I should go for?

And if you prefer ASUS or MSI with a specific model, tell please.

Much appreciated.

You want a Z68 for sure if you plan on using it for things like video editing, etc.. due to the IGP. If this is a gaming build, than either Z68 or P67 will do just fine.

Yes, it's supposed to be a gaming computer :)  - I've put a $700 budget for it. That's why I'm tight on budget. Motherboard, I think, should not exceed $150 as I'll, hopefully, get HD 6850 (if I get a 1080p monitor).

So, will have a dedicated GPU. So will not use the Quick Sync. And I'm not planning on getting an SSD these days, so SSD Caching won't be of much use. It's just, I heard that P67 had some issues with SATA.

ASRock? Are you kidding? If you want solid performance on a tight budget, go for Gigabyte. Some of the best Z68 is from Gigabyte are about $100 to $120. If you can squeeze a little more, go for ASUS.

About Gigabyte's P67 for example, there's UD3, UD4, etc. Up to UD7... Which is the best? and what is the difference between them?

Same with Z68 I think.

well, ud7 is better it has 2 pci-e x16 x16 at full speed but it's not neccessary to use x16 x16, using of x8 x8 is almost perfect idea.they all are good boards.

there is not much difference between x16/x16 and x8/x8
that Asrock board is ok .. @ Why_me welcome back comrad :)
At that price level they are all pretty identical .. also would you mind listing your other components?
