Hi every one I'v just got a quick question when I built my pc about a year ago I just went with a single stick of corsair 4GB memory (model num Corsair CMX4GX3M1A1333C9) and now I want to got to 8gb but the particular model that i originaly bought is now either sold our or about $10 more than the 1600mhz version (Model num Corsair CMX4GX3M1A1600C9) witch is essentially the same version as the older version but at 1600 so my question is it safe to put these 2 in the same board by either underclocking the 1600mhz stick or preferably overclocking the 1333mhz stick. Thanks in advance

Just buy two 4GB sticks of 1600MHz ram... it'll cost you $40 at the most.

I would stay away from using different speed RAM - though it could be done, I can see it easily leading to some wonky issues.
