How to make crt monitor run on 512 graphic card

hi i am new here
i have apple 21 studio crt monitor in which my radeon 1300 256 mb graphic card runs smoothly,but when i upgrade my new nvidia 8600gs 512 mb graphic card i found no display my monitor switch remains yellow
can anyone helps me please
