This is my first build. I'm really excited, but this is a major investment, and I want to make sure I have some input from you guys before I buy.
Some info on what I plan to do with my build
-Heavy gaming
-Play on a single 1080p monitor(Maybe 3D)
-Plan to SLI in the future
-Nvidia and Intel graphics card and processor respectively, only please.
-Overclock my processor to 4.4 GHZ
-Watch Blu-Ray Movies
-Windows 7 64 bit Home premium

I want to keep my price point 2500$ and lower

Here is my Build

COOLER FAN: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus
-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065

This is around 2000$

My only concern is if my cooling is sufficient.
If you guys could add anything, or make any suggestions please do.
I would prefer to keep all my purchases on Newegg
Thanks for the help.

This looks like a nice rig to me.

My one piece of advice is don’t “plan” to SLI in the future. Iether SLI now or don’t ever! By the time you will “need” a second GPU you will be able to purchase a single more powerful GPU. Save your money on the PSU, buy a 600w and don’t SLI.

SLI if you have the cash to buy two of the best today….

Sorry.. One more thing…

Spending over $1500 on a PC is crazy unless you have a lot of money (to blow) of course.
$1500 will get you 94% of a $2500 machine AND..AND..AND ->YOU will never notice that %6 missing except in benchmarks.

If it wasn't for the ssd and hard drives, I would probably have a rig around 1500$ I like having a lot of storage lol.
However, what if I want to up my resolution past 1920x1080p or do 3d gaming. Won't I need to sli?

Get the Xigmatek SD1283 heatsink. It's the exact same form factor as a Hyper 212+, but it has 3x 8mm heat pipes instead of 4x 6mm heat pipes, which work better due larger total cross section area. (3*pi*8^2 is greater than 4*pi*6^2). And, its $10 cheaper. I have an i5 2500k (not overclocked), with it and AS 5, and it never gets above 45C. You can't go wrong with that.

Does anyone have any opinions on a good brand of gtx 580. I like the EVGA, but there have been people who have had defects on the get go. The MSI Lightning looks good.
