hi i have a phenom x4 960T and a motherboard msi 760gm-e51 with core unlocker and i tried to unlock the cpu.
in bios i have turned on the msi core unlocker and nothing happened. When i reboot the system, the cpu remains x4 960t.
I enablet the ACC and when i restarted the pc.. no post.. what can i do?are the 2 cores defective?
i also have a function core control in bios but it only show 4 cores and if i try to start the system with acc no post

sorry for my bad english.

If unlocking the 2 dormant cores causes the system to lock up, then 1 or both cores are defective, yes.
