Solution
That build looks good, I think you could save a bit of cash here and there because that HDD and CPU cooler are a bit pricey for what they are but generally it's a good build.

EDIT: I should warn you too, I have that PSU and mine is pretty noisy. It is by far the noisiest thing in my system. It is rock solid in stability terms though, never missed a beat.

you don't need 850w for sli or ccfx depending on your gpu. for example you would need 1000w+ for gtx 590 quad sli, but would you really want to put that on 850w?

besides, he'll probably use the same power supply on his next build, so it won't hurt to have extra power.

Alright changed my PSU to this:
http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=62827&vpn=CP%2D9020004%2DNA&manufacture=Corsair
PM to $119.69

Any idea if this will be quieter than the previously posted XFX?

I would of liked to change my HDD to the samsung spinpoint series, but unfortunately NCIX doesn't carry it, and i don't want to separate my order across multiple sites. ;(

And thanks for the suggestion morgoth, but I'm really looking forward to the Intel Gigabit LAN controller on the Asus ;)
