My quick launch also disappeared and I have not been able
to recover it. Does anyone have the solution?

This is relatively simple; Your quick launch is located
here:

C:\Documents and Settings\%Username%\Application
Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

To turn it on or off, right-click your task-bar, go
to "toolbars" and select "Quick launch". This will show
the Quick-launch bar.

Copy the shortcuts you need from the above location from
the user you want them transported from to, or to the
defualt user if you want everyone to have them when their
user is created. However you need to do it.

Hope that helps.

If you see an error message when you try to enable the Quick Launch toolbar, see www.dougknox.com, Win XP Fixes, Cannot Create Toolbar For........... error message.
