Gigabyte GA-970A DS3 vs ???

Hi, i'm building a gaming pc, i posted my list of parts i will buy on the systems list but i'm not getting much feedback, i was recommended to the Gigabyte GA-970A DS3 so i'm woundering,

Is this board the best in its price range ( 150$ NZD ) for gaming / OCing the CPU - help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
