12v running low on 8.25

Hello everyone

I have my system accusing 12v current running on 8.25v!
Is that normal?
Can it damage the hardware?
Is it the mainboard or the font issue?

ASUS P5KSE EPU
450W REAL FONT
3 x 3.5 HDD
1 x 3.5 DVDRW (barely used)
1 x nvidia geforce 9600

your psu is defective/damaged and you need a new psu or maybe software is old (try latest version of hwinfo32)

Your system would not run at all if your 12 volt rail was at 8 volts.

What program are you using to monitor your voltages?

Turns out HWMonitor does not read the correct voltage. HWinfo64 does.
In the BIOS the 12v is normal.
