I use a Linksys WRT54GL router with Tomato firmware. I don't use the wireless anymore since all that's hooked up to it is my PC and my girlfriend's laptop through wires, so I took off the antennas. Since I only have stuff hooked up to it by wire now, there are probably settings that don't even need to be on (wireless settings to be more specific), are there any settings I could turn off, change or whatever to make it a better wired router?
Also, is there a way I could set it up so I could have main priority over her? (give LAN port 1 on the back of the router top priority over ports 2, 3 and 4). For example, whenever I'm doing stuff online, playing an online multiplayer game, it slows her down, but she can never slow me down no matter what she's doing?
