GTX 460 or 6850?

I'm looking to upgrade from my 5670 to a more powerful card, i'm going to decide on between a 460 and a 6850.
but i want to know which one uses less power because my 500w psu probably isn't up to par.

The HD6850 uses less power, about 25-30 watts less under load. This is a good deal;

Check out this chart. The power draw is not that different and comes down to the specific card's voltage and speed settings. For $20 more you can get a standard clocked 6870. Select the cards you are interested in and click the compare button.

If it's actually a 500w power supply either one would be fine, if it's a crappy chineese POS you should probably replace it anyways. There is little difference between those 2 cards in performance or power usage, I would just get whatever one is cheaper or whatever brand you are more comfortable with.
