Cpu cooler for an i5

Im looking for a cpu cooler for an i5 and once again I'm overwhelmed by the options available from the various vendors . I have a full tower case ( lian li pc-a70f ) so I think most units will fit . I have no window so led's , tail fin's , disco balls not neccessary unless its part of the best unit . Im hoping to keep the price under $ 100 . The mobo is an asus p8z68 pro btw . All input greatly appreciated !

I like the nocta units but most of the reviews state its size as an issue in regaurds to memory installation . Would that be true with the p8z68pro ??

It's cheap.
It works.

EVO or +, doesn't matter. There is not a staggering difference between the two. If you don't mind spending an extra $15, go for the EVO.

Good unit = cools my i5 760 just fine and is fairly quiet for dual fans.
The 212+ and Evo are very good too!

For the money the coolermaster hyper 212 evo looks like the winner . The corsair seemed to have alot of negative feedback regaurding both noise levels as well as room for memory . The only critical comments posted on the evo was the need for the second fan for a push-pull configuration . That being said I was unable to find a fan on new egg that was model specific to the evo . Is there one out there or will any coolermaster 120 mm fan do ??

Yep the EVO is a great choice.
I have a 212+ as well and it's basically the same dimensions as the EVO.
The A70 is actually quieter with 2 fans then my single fan 212+ is.
The 212+/Evo will play a little nicer with most ram kits.
I had no problem using the A70 or 212+ with 4 dimms filled with Ripjaws = obviously Corsair Dominators/Vengeance kits(non-LP) will cause issues.
I've never seen the EVO's matching fan anywhere other then CM's store.
