20 + 4 pin cable loose

Hey guys, I have a slight issue with my Motherboard/ PSU. The 20 +4 pin ATX connector does not seem to have a clip on the 4 pin part, and under the weight, it seems like it could fall out! Will this be a problem, or could I just use a thin strip of electrical tape around the base of the wire to hold it in? I have an Asus Sabertooth Z77 mobo and a coolermaster silent pro 850 W. I have tried routing it through the cable management part of my case, and pushing it in quite hard, but it doesnt seem to "want" to stay! Thanks in advance!
