Hey guys, I have a slight issue with my Motherboard/ PSU. The 20 +4 pin ATX connector does not seem to have a clip on the 4 pin part, and under the weight, it seems like it could fall out! Will this be a problem, or could I just use a thin strip of electrical tape around the base of the wire to hold it in? I have an Asus Sabertooth Z77 mobo and a coolermaster silent pro 850 W. I have tried routing it through the cable management part of my case, and pushing it in quite hard, but it doesnt seem to "want" to stay! Thanks in advance!

More aboutcable loose
I have the same motherboard and power supply. The 4 pin connector keeps coming loose and randomly shutting down my PC.
take out both plug (20+4 ) place them together and then insert them in board
if they are still loose then fix them up other wise it can damage connectors and/or motherboard and other parts due to loose connection
