High cpu usage notices

Hello,
how do i resolve high cpu usage on vista

In Task Manager, find out what process is using it. Go to the Processes tab, and sort by CPU usage. Report back what processes are using anything more than 10% when it is supposed to be idling.

Check your MS updates and which AV suite you are using... I see Norton flagging High CPU usage on systems constantly...

Are you on the current (SP2?) of Vista... Is everything up to date... Are you on an older dual core or even a single core system???
