GPU for Call of Duty?

Hey guys
I am building a gaming rig under £1,000
i have around $300 dollers on the gpu

which gpu would you recommend to play all the call of dutys and which will probably run mw3 on high settings

I want cod 4, 5, 6 and black ops to run on max settings and have good frame rates

Although I don't see COD typically benchmarked anymore, it would be hard to imagine a 6870, 6950, GTX560Ti, or GTX570 not running it well at 1080P...

If you are going to spend $300 then I would say get a Radeon 6950.

apart from the GPU, it also depends what is your processor and system RAM!

Without knowing what resolution your monitor is, what cpu you have, and what power supply you have, nobody could possibly give you an educated answer.

If he has a 2ghz dual core celeron and a 350w power supply and his resolution is 1280x1024, then that would be considered an uneducated recommendation right?

A cherry picked chart means absolutely nothing. A chart featuring a highly overclocked card vs. other cards that are not overclocked at all means even less.
