Approximate Purchase Date: Well I guess I would order in advance for christmas
Budget Range: I would like to keep it below $850 (I think it is 860 right now)
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Internet, Programming
Parts Not Required: Keyboard+Mouse, I will probably get a (mini?) HDMI screen locally to save on shipping.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Amazon (I need international shipping to NZ).
Country of Origin: NZ
Parts Preferences: Quality? But not over expensive
Overclocking: No, But I will be using the turbo feature (I am getting the 2600K because it has HD and it is only like $11).
SLI or Crossfire: SLI?
Monitor Resolution: Errr? Something wide, relatively cheap and with a mini HDMI port?
Additional Comments: I barely use my CD/DVD ROM.

EDIT: Following advice below I have changed to a WD 500GB Black for my boot drive and on my own instinct switched to a 1TB secondary drive.
Oh and I hate Microsoft for taking all my cash!
EDIT2:
Changed to another (cheaper) Micro ATX board.
EDIT3:
Changed back to the old Micro ATX

For your primary drive get a black drive. You'll be happier with it's performance over a blue drive.

hey, my 9500gt actually does pretty good at that res!! but it is extremely low, and the op could really use a new monitor. granted, it does look too bad if you're used to it.

As I said I am buying a NEW monitor for this computer.
So recommend away, but I'll probably just walk in and buy the cheapest thing that is more than 20" with a mini HDMI slot.
I'll look at the black drive, Windows bumped me way to far in terms of price however  I want to use Ubuntu but it doesn't have programs I need to live (games, games and games).
