Couldnt find a specfic category to ask this under so i shall ask here. I'm at uni at the moment doing games software engineering and as part of my portfolio I have to go register a web domain and get a custom professional sounding email address etc so i can demo my work online in the hopes of getting work exp. Problem is I don't know where to start and i'm pretty confused by some of the stuff I have read. Really what im after is someone to point me in the right direction of where i need to go to register a domain and maybe an idea of what it costs and how i get it hosted etc. Oh id also like to know how you then set up a custom email address based on your webspace.
