Hello, Looking for some advice here before I jump in and buy these PATRIOT PC Master Viper 3 Series 2 x 4 GB Memory DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 CL9. Will this memory be good to use with Asus P8Z77-V Pro and my BE QUIET DARK ROCK ADVANCED CPU COOLER or is the heat spreaders going to be to tall with this cooler

That memory is fine, 1600mhz is all you need and 9 is a good number for latency. Don't know if it will fit under that heatsink though. I would, like knightdog56 said, go with those low profile Corsairs (they make great memory).
