Hey guys. I want to build a gaming computer for $600 to play latest games, like Crysis 2 at mid high settings.

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-
M68MT- D3
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 840
RAM: CORSAIR 4GB (2 X 2 GB)
1333Mhz Dual Channel 240-pin DDR3
Hard Disk: Seagate Barracuda
500 GB
Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 ti
Monitor: I'm not sure about what monitor should I go for.
PSU: I don't know what PSU should I get.
Case: Cooler Master Elite 310

I don't need a keyboard, speakers, a mouse and I want onboard audio.
So are these parts compatible with each other? Should I buy an ATI graphics card? Please help me guys, I need some advice.

I would get something like the Phenom II x4 955 Black Edition instead of the x4 840 because of the L3 cache the 840 doesn't have. IMO, the budget looks a bit tight for all the things you suggested. I think a 500w PSU would be sufficient for this build.

Yeah, the budget is pretty tight but I need this computer only for like 10 months and I can upgrade it later.

Anyway, I think I'll go for a Phenom II X4 Black ed. and a Radeon HD 6850 card. but what monitor should I buy that's under $80?
