Apparently my (FIC PA2013) mboard's USB ports don't supply enough power for my Canon Scanner (630U)...

Are there hubs which supply their additional power to USB devices? If so, any recommendations?

I have a cheap d-link hub ($20) DSB-H4. It is powered and has worked for everything that I have needed it for
