Hello,
I recently bought a configuration AMD 1090T, with ASUS M4A88T-M and 16GB Corsair RAM.

Purpose : For Vmware ESX lab(Virtualisation)

BIOS Settings changed: Changed SATA AHCI mode to IDE mode, and enabled AMD-V.

Host OS : Windows XP 64 bit which supports up to 128GB of mem.

Virtualisation software : Vmware Workstation 8

Problem Description : When i tried to install ESX on top of Workstation, it is installing fine, but when i go with vm creations and installations on top of ESX(which is on Workstation) VM's are running very slow, with low performance, and if i run multiple vm's on top of Workstation parallely with ESX system is very slow, not getting interest to work.

please help me whether i am in a right path, or i need to change any other Board configurations. earlier i used Core2Duo and I-3 processor with 8GB of memory, it works excellent with out any issues, but this time even if i go with better configuration than I-3 and Core2duo..Performance is very poor...really frustated...

please let me know if you need any more information to understand better.

Thanks in Advance... awaiting for your Valuable help.

Thanks,
Murali
