Hi there,

I have a Dell one 2310 (all in one)
the basic one,
CPU - P6100
8 GB RAM
Intel HD Graphics
500 GB

now the updated one comes with an i3 processor and a dedicated grahpics card ATI HD5470...NOW the chipset i have is exactly the same as the new one but without the MXM card!..i have a empty MXM Slot which is functional, where would i buy the mxm card? also the fan to go with it? to fit in my Dell PC...dell said they would give me the parts..lol obviously even tho i was willing to pay what it costs..what to do??

MXM cards are generally not sold in the retail market. They are mostly sold to system integrators. You may find some on ebay.

To the best of my knowledge, MXM comes in three formats so you need to find which ones your all-in-one is compatible with; Type I, Type II, Type III.

That is a question I don't have an answer to. I think the AIO will be like a laptop with copper heatpipe conducting the GPU to the main fan, but since you don't have GPU installed already, I don't know if you have the heatpipe.

In theory, it should work is you use the right drive.

Sorry, I only had MXM on laptop before, not AIO, so there is a degree of uncertainty and can only tell you so much.
