Open bios and my new ram is running at wrong frequency

I bought some new Corsair XMS3 that is supposed to run a 1600MHZ but when I opened my bios to check its running at 1333mhz. Could they have given me the wrong RAM at the store? The ram sticks match the packaging so what could be going on?

Depending on the board's model, you can try enabling the XMP in BIOS.
