Hello,I'm buying a new computer and want to run 3 24" monitors at the same time with 3 different programs running. Do I need 3 video cards or 2 or just one with3 outputs?

I know that the "new" amd eyefinity technology allows you to set up up to 6 monitors, depending on how many displays the amd video card supports at one time. I guess eyefinity is a program + drivers, etc, but I'm not too sure. I'm also asuming that eyefinity comes free with eyefinity graphics cards.

For example:

http://www.amazon.com/HIS-Radeon-Eyefinity-Mini-Display...

http://www.amazon.com/AMD-FirePro-Express-Graphics-100-...

http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml...

but it's hard to find the exact number of displays that the individual graphics card can support at once.

I'd also like to know how to do it with multiple graphics cards which support only 1 display each.
