What is the estimated performance increase between:

So I am currently running a Q6600 (LGA 775) on a Striker Extreme w 8gb of ram. I am looking at moving to something in the LGA 2011 with the entry level 6 core processor and 16-32gb of ram when they are available.

For heavy photoshop and HD video with some casual gaming, how much of an "estimated" performance increase might I see?

It seems that the Q6600 is so old now that there are no charts showing it anymore against the new stuff.

I think it would be quite a large increase in performance. I think the Q6600 is equivalent to a Phenom II x4 clock for clock.
