After much digging, I have learned that the Bluetooth profiles
supported by my Palm Tungsten T3 are only for data, not audio of any
kind (A2DP or other).

Does anyone know of any third-party vendors that sell such a profile?

Is such a profile even possible, or has Palm designed it out somehow?

I can see that Bluetooth is still fairly immature in the marketplace,
with this sort of glitch that is pretty inconsistent with the Bluetooth
vision/dream. Bummer, maybe in a year it will get less annoying.
Thanks for any tips, observations, comments, etc.

Nope.

Palm didn't incorporate any audio BT profiles. No doubt it would be
possible to add, if someone was to write the appropriate BT stack profiles.

My observations and comments:

As the Palm Tungsten T3 was primarily designed to be a PDA(A *data*
device), and NOT an MP3-player or whatever. Palm probably decided that
*data* only BT profiles would be enough for most people.

Things like mobile-phones do support BT *audio* profiles however, and
would be a bit stupid if they didn't.
