Cpu support list for a dell 0dg286 motherboard

Does anyone know if i could put a intel Core 2 Duo T7500 socket 478 will work with my motherboard and will there be any big performance increase over the current processor that i have.

Dell doesn't provide any cpu upgrade info. I suggest you register with a dell forum and post your question there. Perhaps someone has tried upgrading your board.

One problem you will have is even finding a socket 478 CPU as that socket died numerous years ago. It is not impossible, but it will take some work.
