Hi, I have a ms-7376 motherboard. It supports AMD2+ CPU's. Can I use AMD3 processors with this motherboard or not?

Thank you very much for the reply, however even if I get a phenom II I do not know how to flash the bios. I tried to update the bios using LIVEUPDATE from MSI, but there was an error (I heard this is a horrible program from other forums). I also don't have a floppy drive. Flashing a bios is something I am very hesitatant about. Also, if I buy a phenom II processor, will the information or drivers to flash bios from amd2+ to amd3 come with it? Or will I have to find it at MSI? Will the drivers be easy to find?

I think it flashed my bios right using LIVEUPDATE 5, though im not sure. I went ahead and bought a phenom x4 9600. I currently have a athlon x64 x2. When I put the phenom in, do I have to do anything special to the motherboard, or shoudl it work just fine once I install it?

I already bought the 9600 :) it was 40 dollars on ebay from a reputable source. Also, I managed to make a bootup 98se disk on my usb drive. I booted it and also put the bios update on. THe problem is that on SISOFT sandra it is showing I have version 1.0 and my liveupdate 5 says I have version 1.0, but the DOS flash worked fine. I don't understand. I previously had version 1.2.
