Power confusion

I,m building a new rig..Just 1 ? ..Power supply the mobo says needs 1x24 pin 1x8 pin connectors...??????All the pwr supplys I see are 20x 4x..Am I missing something??

20+4=24 and 4+4=8 is the common configuration today! You have any specific PSU in mind?

Not to worry, all modern PSU's come with both connectors.
