Hello, I'm pretty new to building computers but I've done some work in the past involving it. However I'm working on upgrading several components to my desktop and I ordered a few items off of newegg.

I looked into everything but now I'm just a little concerned because of a few things I read about the Xeon 1230 compatibility with home PCs since it's a server CPU.

Intel Xeon E3-1230
BIOSTAR TH67B LGA 1155 Intel H67
Radeon HD 6850

These are the three components I purchased, will I run into any trouble with them all working together?

Thanks

Edit: I've read it can run into problems with certain tasks, so basically all I'm going to do with this computer is some high-end gaming and recording of that and then of course video editing. Possibly some streaming as well.

The xeon will work on consumer chipsets but it depends if the specific mobo bios will be compatible. The issue with this is that no manufacturer will officially support xeon on consumer chipsets so it's just luck if it works or if you can google someone else how has. Stick with the 2500k.
