Is there really a big difference?

Okay I can understand more GB of ram is better, but now I need to work around frequencies? I am looking at 2 sets of 8 GB of ram both are 4GBx2 but one is 1600 and the other is 2400. Will there be a big difference if I got the 2400? Or should I be wiser and spend less and get the 1600?

More about : big difference

not much difference at all (unless you're using integrated graphics)

and 8 GB is plenty for almost anyone (unless you're working with massive video or photos...)

Alright thanks, I'm just really big into gaming. Can't see spending an extra $40 for a barely noticeable difference. Let the frames keep rolling.
