Hi
I'm looking for a new VGA card but it's very confusing to choose the best one according to my budget (150$).
what do you recommend between GTS 450 and Radeon 5770 ?
does it worth to pay much more money for GTX 460 or GTX 550TI or Radeon 6850 ?
I'm looking for sth. to support gaming also in the future... :sarcastic:

It would be a very good idea to at least pay slightly more for an HD6850 or GTX 460. As Xeen says though we really need to know more about the rest of your system to give an appropriate recommendation. Include PSU brand/model and screen resolution.

I've not selected the PSU yet. i want to choose one after finalizing VGA.

You would think wrong then. They are an entirely different architecture and you cannot compare the core speeds directly because of such. At your resolution the GTX 460 is (very) slightly faster at reference speeds(both of the cards I linked are at reference.) The GTX 460 also has more overclocking headroom and performance tends to scale better with an OC on those cards compared to the HD6850. The cooling on the particular model I linked is also quite quiet and effective.
Basically if you aren't going to overclock then go for the HD6850 for $10 and free game. If you will overclock then the GTX 460 is probably the better choice.
