Hello, I'm Michael and I am currently using a BIOSTAR G31 M7 TE Motherboard(yes I know its quite old). It is running 2GB Stronium DDR2 Ram and an Intel Pentium D 945 3.4GHz which is cooled by a Cooler Master Vortex 211p. Though I have a problem. As soon as someone hits the case, the computer freezes and when I press on the reset button, the computer gives no signal. What I need to do then is to take apart the motherboard and the ram from the case and replace it. Then, if I'm lucky, the computer is good again. I have tried two sorts of RAM. 1GB Kingston and 2GB Stronium and both are making the same effect. So I guess its the motherboard. I would like your thoughs on that, what is the cause? Is it fixable? Thanks.
Here are my specs though.

500GB SATA Hitachi Hard Drive.
XGR Extreme Power 500W PSU
I had some static problems with the same computer a while ago, maybe it'll be useful.
