How the usb connects to the case ?

So the case iv choose doesnt have 3.0 on the front of the case but my mother board does so my questions is will the 2.0 usb still be able to work

Yes, I'd be very surprised if your motherboard doesn't have USB 2.0 interfaces as well as USB 3.0 (the former is smaller than the latter). Refer to your manual to see where the interfaces are located on your board. What board have you got?
