I'm creating a new build (Minus the GPU, PSU, and hard drive from my current rig to save money) for gaming. I can't give a specific budget, but I'm sure you could get a general idea from the parts I list below. I've looked at the info for these parts for hours so I'm sure there's no compatibility issues, but if so PLEASE point it out. Mainly, I want to know if I there's somewhere I could be getting more performance for around the same price. Thanks in advance :)

Mobo: ASUS M5A97 EVO AM3+
CPU: AMD 955 BE AM3
RAM: 4GB Kingston HyperX Genesis
DVDRW: LGGH24LS70 24X SATA Lightscribe DVDRW
Computer Case: Bitfenix Shinobi White window (Could I get a better budget case?)

Old, going to be installed parts:
GPU: ASUS 5670 1GB
PSU: Coolermaster 700w eXtreme power plus
HDD: 313GB Western Digital WDC HDD

Actually, would 8GB of Mushkin Enhanced Silverline Stilletto DDR3 1333 be compatible with this build? I looked at the board's QVL list which didn't say anything about this. But then again it barely has any Mushkin products so I just want to know..

Oh and sorry for the double post

It's ok, the GPU isn't great, but it's what you want I presume. I would recommend upgrading that one, a 5770 perhaps?. yeah, the 8GB would be fine. your case is fine. nice CPU, so you should be fine.

A GPU upgrade really didn't fit into my budget, but I'll upgrade it sooner or later.

And I'll take a look at that case, 20 dollars cheaper than the Bit fenix.

Thanks alot for the reply guys =)
