Upgrading bios am2 to am2+

I've got an older Acer Aspire its got a Athlon 1.90 ghz BE-1200. I think the socket is AM2 just wonder if I got a AM2+ processor if I could upgrade the BIOS to make it compatible.

It will only work if Acer has a BIOS that works with AM2+ CPU's specifically for that board!

How would I go about finding that out. I've looked on their website for downloads on the BIOS but can't even find my computer on there anymore.

Then you are out of luck nobody else will have a BIOS for Acer, you can though try their customer support.
