I'm thinking of buying a raidmax case
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156250

My question is I've been reading reviews of the case and many have cited problems with a molex pins. My question is how does this plug work and why are there so many concerns about it. I'm worried about not having case fans work since I'm not 100 percent sure whether or not I would be able to utilize the case.

First time builder so I have no idea how case fans work to be honest. Thanks in advance

Well, alot of larger fans use the 4 pin molex because a lot of motherboards only have 2 or 3, 3pin fan connectors and also a molex has more power. You can also run more then 1 fan of a molex if you have the correct adapters and a high enough power supply.

Where would a molex adapter plug into? I currently have a 500watt oczmod. And am planning on getting a 990fx gigabyte board.

Sorry i used the wrong word there, My apologies. I meant a molex splitter. If your power supply only has one available molex power cable than his would split it into two moles connectors. This is wear you could connect two fans.
