Hello TH,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but i have a really annoying problem.

My problem is that, when i put in 16 GB ram in my computer, it freeze when windows is loading, and if i try to run the windows system reparation(can't remember what it's called) i get BSOD.

My specs:

Motherboard: MSI Z77A-GD65
CPU: Intel i7 3770k
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit 1600 MHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670
PSU: Cooler Master GX-750W
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

I've checked if it's my RAM that dosen't work, by putting only 8 GB and switching the ram blocks to see if all works. I also checked the ram slots on the motherboard and they all also works.

I don't know what to do now, I've tried everything i know, so i hope you guys can help me. If you need more information just ask.

Best regards
Mark

I would first rule out a bad stick of memory by installing just a single stick in the 1st memory slot and running Memtest at boot. Let it run for at least 4 passes. Repeat for each stick. It does a much more thorough job of memory testing that Windows Memory Diagnostics.

Download the bootable .ISO and use it to make a bootable CD that you can run at boot-up.
