A GTX570 is definitly worth the money if you intend on playing BF3.You wont't be able to max it out but you should come close and a lot better than a GTX560ti would do.

You are right that your CPU will be a bottleneck. You can always try to O.C.If you can get it to around 3.8ghz or higher you should lessen the bottleneck.

I dunno I don't agree with some of these comments, if your spending this money already why don't you get something higher end if money isn't a huge concern?

See your looking at cards that are ... not old but you can get better.

GTX 580 Maxtrix which I couldn't regard high enough, it's an extra $200-300 but it is an amazing card.

You will push bounderies with the 570 with up coming games such as BF3 Guild wars 2 etc, if you want real performance and save you from the hassle later on spend the extra money, it's well worth it.

With the GTX570 you will already be bottlenecked but with a GTX580 it's out of the question their will be such a huge bottleneck it will run like a GTX560ti.Unless you get a CPU upgrade I would adivse getting anything better than a GTX560ti until you O.C.

i would say 6950 if you would go amd, since its only like £20 more then 560 ti and is close/onpar to 570
if you are goin to play bf3 mind that amd cards will run it a little better

How do you know AMD cards will play BF3 better than Nvidia cards?

The 6950 is $20 more because it has an extra gig of VRAM which won't be needed unless the OP is going for a resolution higher than 1080p.

You can't say that AMD will play better...

You can only suggest buying a high end card will be able to play the game...

6950 2GB model is FINE, there is no reason to go higher unless your playing on high ress.
GTX560 is a decent quality card, promise you one thing whatever you decide on buying you won't be truely happy...

I'm not truely happy running GTX MAXTRIX SLI on 92FPS... maybe I'm just ignorant.
