Should I upgrade anything?

Here's my specs. I'm thinking of upgrading cause my PC was being a little to sluggish for my tastes on Shogun 2 with highest settings on.

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 940 (3000 Ghz)

Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4850 (512 mb)

Drive: One 500 GB Hard drive ( 178 GB left)

Optical Drive: DVD RW (Don't think I'll need an upgrade on this one. I have my PS3 for BR)

Operating System: Windows 7 64bit Home Premium

More about should upgrade anything
  1. Graphics card and maybe a little O/c on the chip
  2. Any recommendations for graphics card? In the 100-300 $ range.
theres plenty from $100 to $300
but an is reasonable enough for a low/mid gaming rig, Amd's equivalent would be the 5770/6770
What resolution are you on there? and one monitor or multiple?
  4. Nice enough yes, and a free game to boot, it should pair well with your Quad
  5. Thanks! Also... How would I go about this 'overclocking' thing?
  6. best bet is to go over into the Overclocking side and read some stickies there,
its dependant on your motherboard largely, some bios' wont let you adjust anything, others will allow you to adjust settings and make the chip run faster, although at the cost of heat produced and more power required
