Buying new graphics card for PC

Hello, I bought a new HP p7-1054 and it works like a charm, I am buying a new graphics card for it,
it has an ATI radeon HD 4200 integrated, and it can play most of my games fine, but it isn't good enough, so I was considering buying this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/VisionTek+-+ATI+Radeon+HD+5670+2GB+DDR3+PCI+Express+Graphics+Card/2286104.p?id=1218318855420&skuId=2286104

Will it be able to play Left 4 dead 2, Team fortress 2, and some other games nicely, possibly on max settings? $130 is my limit for buying one, so would this be worth buying?

  1. That's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive for an HD5670. They go for around half that price.
    Your computer only has a 250w PSU. You will really need to replace it to use a decent video card. Even the HD5670 would be pushing things more than I would recommend.

    Well then what is a decent one, for no more than $135?
  3. A good choice for that price range would be the HD6770;

    It is approximately twice as fast as the HD5670 you were looking at.
    Like I said though you will need a new power supply. This is a good deal;

  4. If $135 is your absolute limit, then get the new PSU and a GDDR5 version of the HD6670; they'll cost right about that, assuming you get the PSU that jyjjy linked.
    The $20-$25 more that a HD6770 would cost is well worthwhile, but a budget is a budget.
