Anyone know a accredated website that sells phenom 9500 to 9650 series processors for my AMD2+ motherboard. It is a MS 7376 motherboard. I know I can flash the bios to get phenom II, but I don't know how to flash a bois and I do not have a floppy drive to even attempt it. Also, if I bought a phenom II for my motherboard, how do I know which ones are compatable and which are not? Can someone also explain to me how to flash update my bios. I tried to use LIVEUPDATE 5 from MSI, but it glitched, and after reading forums on LIVEUPDATE 5 they are saying LIVEUPDATE 5 is useless and won't help update your bios.

a 95w ph II will work with most am2 boards after bios update.

to update bios you first download the bios and put it somewhere and then you should have a flash utility in your bios, you select the file and flash it and it will work.

On a MSI 7376, is the bios flash utility in some kind of downloaded software, or is it in bios when I boot it up

Leave your old chip in, use live update to update BIOS to 7376 v1B and you can support PH2 x2/x3/x4/x6 95w or 125w cpu's, but I recommended th PH2 X4 965BE.
